E.Y.E.

ENGAGING YOUTH EMOTIONALLY

The Goal of E.Y.E (Engaging Youth Emotionally) is to help youth enhance their emotional intelligence, coping skills, and foster a supportive and open environment. Over the course of 6 weeks youth will encounter mental health concepts partnered with hands on activities that enable them to expand their understanding of their own mental and emotional needs and functions. Youth will be able to learn from each other and their workshop facilitators.

Throughout the 6 weeks Youth will be challenged and encouraged to engage in open and honest conversation as they share space with others who have varied lived experiences. The Youth will develop and explore emotions, emotional intelligence, emotional regulation, and ways to express emotions creatively as they seek to build resiliency, while navigating daily stressors and anxiety. By fostering emotional intelligence and providing coping strategies, the E.Y.E. (Engaging Youth Emotionally) program will significantly help young individuals navigate their emotions and lead more fulfilling lives.
